Salman Khan reacted to online trolling during the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 20, talking about the comments he often receives about his age, weight and appearance.
During the episode, Salman talked about how celebrities are often trolled for their looks and body on social media. Referring to what’s being said about his own appeal, he said that people are calling him “mota” and trolling him for being old.
The actor decided to take a stand against the trolls in his own way. Salman took off his hat and jacket and challenged those trolling him, saying “Karlo na troll, ye lo.”
Salman questioned the mentality of those who feel the need to continue trolling on social media, asking why people feel the need to troll someone for their appeal, age or body.
The actor also talked about how people are judged for all different aspects of their lives, including their age, appeal, failures and decisions. Salman said that the comments can be unnecessarily harsh if they continue being made on social media.
Salman also talked about comments which question his age, adding that he’s now hitting the big 6-0 and wondering why it’s becoming a reason for people to troll him.

During his talk, Salman highlighted how social media users can comment on what a celebrity is doing without thinking about how what they say could affect the person. Salman’s reaction to the trolling also drew attention to the larger problem of body-shaming and age trolling on social media.
While some viewers have interpreted his comments as coming in response to the age trolling which has taken place in recent weeks by other celebrities, Salman didn’t name anyone in particular in the promo.
